Happy Thursday evening everyone!

Hope your ankle heals soon slick!

We viewed a house today, it has huge up sides, but huge down sides so I think we'll give it a miss.

Good morning everyone, friend and readers ....as my friend Fire says.

Slick I am glad your ankle is healing but keep treating it like a baby until fully able to tale normal usage ....I have tore a trndon or ligament cant remember what doctor said and it took a year to fully heal or a little more.

My tip is put it into a hot whirlpool soak.
If you have access to a hot tub or something like that....Because I am telling you that it heals up faster if you do.

I hurt mine by stepping out of a bread truck like vehicle or one maybe more people will know a UPS delivery like truck.

Onto un-even surfaceof black-top and gravel.

And di it hurt when I rolled my foot on the edge of that ....wowza it immediately went to a golf ball size lump and I was months getting over it.

Anyway....

Have a good day ALL.

Thanks Linville!!  But now I'm confused!!  The doc told me to keep it elevated and iced!!!  The ice really has not done much and I am being extremely careful!!  I'm getting wrinkles from wincing every time I move it or use it just in the smallest wrong way!!!  I must admit the ice did help the swelling - but not the pain???

Slick.......I am an expert on ankle injuries (Basketball days)......ice is very good when used immediately.....helps keep the swelling down.

after the swelling has stabilized.....go for elevation at various times during the day....no need to overdue the elevation.....

Linville is right in that the heat makes you feel better and may speed the healing......

you won't like this part.....but some walking is good and will keep it loose, especially after the heat treatment.....

Hope that helpsSmile

Yeah Slick
I was not exact enough for you was I

Sorry
Good tips Popster thanks for saying

Yes Slick I did use ice and elevation the first few days
And when it was not healing up the medical dept at my place of employment started having me come baby there to put my foot in the heated whirlpool

And yes keep it moving to keep it from locking up

Oh I am not a doctor but just passing along to you my experience

I am glad Popster said something to you
