I've been crossing my fingers for you guys in FL. I hope it takes it easy on you and there is minimal damage. FL was my home for awhile many yrs. ago. We evacuated there for Katrina and ended up staying for over a month. My parents had a house on the beach in Panama City although they sold it long before Katrina. We were very fortunate to have friends a couple of doors down that used their beach house for their vacations. The family got together and gave up their vacation time so that we would have a place to stay until we could get back to La. They saved us from a large hotel bill.
I luv PCB and know it well. I luv ALL of FL and hate to see it get hit by these storms.

Take care and stay safe.

Cricket, any chance of relocating your RV house to a lot with a nice view?  Moving is expensive though and I know you are watching your $.

Tbaron, I just saw a clip on FL this am.  Major flooding in NW of the state.

Good morning Fire,

I hope your daughter is feeling ok and not suffering from her injury. I'm pullin' for you guys.

I'd love to be able to move my trailer to an area I had hoped to go to, but it would cost a fortune to move it. It has so many additions like handicap ramps and big porches and it would be a major job to move it all. Besides, at least I don't have to worry so much about hurricanes and being on the water. Sure miss that water tho. I'm just gonna be stuck where I am and will have to make the best of it. I guess in time I will not be so homesick. Maybe LOL

Have a good day Ms. Fire

Cricket

Thanks Cricket - we're going to be OK. I had some good friends that relocated to PC during Katrina. I've been through hurricanes myself. It's tough but wonderful to have good friends that will take us in.

Fire - yes NW FL got hit, lots of rain. We too got lots of rain but stayed high & dry further south

If anyone can step outside and look at the moon just now you can see Mars and Saturn just below and to the side of it

Saturn is the one right below it

Such a lovely evening to gaze at the sky
Clear and mild

I have an app that helps me understand what is there

It also located the space station
And other sats

So if you get a chance step outside and look

It is way cool this evening

It you do see it post it please

Lucky you. Where I moved from, there was wide open skies and no trees to speak of. I use to luv sitting out on the back deck and sky watch. Now where I am, there's nothing but big trees that block my view.
I use to see falling stars almost every night. Just another thing I miss since the move. POOP!
What I hope for now is that I don't see any falling trees. Yikes!
