It's not the weekend, but I can see it from my house ..

I'm seeing a few new "faces" here at the cafe' ... Wonderful! We have a seat for everyone ... And Linville always has great coffee (and hot water for tea) ready to go ...

Been kinda cool up here, but considering how cold it gets, I ain't gonna complain ...

It is possible to fix one of those fancy ones but you might have to teach that , just saying , Hah.

The week end, is out there close..

Please bear with me - if I don't get this out, I feel like I'll explode.

I awoke to loud machine very near my window after a mostly sleepless night, vibrating corner of house.
Like Christmas morning, I ran to see what was the clatter?  LOL
My neighbor had his tractor near my house and pulled all my fence posts down on that side - without warning or even KMA after my grandson already told him we had a company lined up to do it next wk (and neighbor said ok at time)

You have to understand the situation.  I was misinformed by the realtors as to my boundaries.  
Also, my neighbor had 2 ft metal rebarb sticking out of ground from corner of my house all the way down back yard - he told my grandson to mow to the 'stakes'.   We honestly believed rebarb stakes were our boundary (matched up with post in back)
The man from Lowe's said stakes were in straight line and evenly spaced, looked professional, said everything looked right, aligned etc.
No formal survey because road and 2 other fences surround the back without problem.

ALWAYS GET A SURVEY BEFORE BUYING!  NO MATTER WHAT!

Lowe's set posts for my back fence - turned out the posts were barely on neighbor's land.
WE told neighbor we'd have posts removed (fence had been put on hold)  
Already had company lined up to move posts.
So my realtors misinformed me, AND
that neighbor had my grandson mowing part of his grass since Aug '15 ?  Free labor?
IT GETS BETTER...  OR WORSE?

I won't describe the drama I've been through past 3 weeks with mentally unstable, volatile person,
but I had to call 911 against his mob of 6-7 people all over my yard (front & back) yelling verbal abuse 3x one day and 2x next.
Then refusing to leave my yard 8 pm at night....
 2 days of constant harassment when I said I'd hire surveyor and Legally confirm boundaries before anymore work done, correct anything wrong.  Ended only because LE intervened.     I can't believe it...  surreal.  
I collapsed twice and couldn't get up while they screamed abuse at me  - who does that to old disabled woman? 
They were healthy young to middle-aged men doing this to me, disabled old woman alone.  Finally 3 warnings to leave and I called LE. 
I tried to purchase the inches of land from him (he has big yard) thinking that might be viable solution.  No.

MY QUESTION:  The posts are all out with 2 ft of 4x4 below concrete and then little ball of kinda flat concrete (no post sleeve? concrete method) I know they can be reposted into new holes.  Can you tell I've been researching?   HaHaHa
I suppose I should thank my weird neighbor, it looks like they are all intact.
Who does that without telling their neighbor esp when they already discussed it and had agreement?
I can see now it is good they are out of ground but way it was done - Disrespectful, not out of character for him at all either.



What my grandson and I want to know can he can just dig holes inside my line and repost these 4x4's with concrete since they are intact and basically lying right next to where they will go?  My grandson thinks he can do it and wants to do it. 
Just make sure he packs dirt as tight as can at bottom ? 


Of course, Lowe's wants to charge me $ to redig the post holes, but do they understand a posthole digger isn't gonna fix this cuz of way concrete was just "blobbed" in hole and twice or more as big as post?

How would he set a post with just irregular concrete blob at ground level and 2ft of post below into ground below concrete?
Dig hole almost funnel shape so 4x4 goes down into couple feet and concrete at ground?
 What I wonder is how you fill in dirt beneath the concrete blob once you start putting 4x4 in hole?


Does anyone out there have opinion or advice on this? 
If my grandson can repost them, Lowe's will nail boards & finish fence next week.

ANYONE?   Appreciate any helpful comments.
Thanks for reading this big mess I've had dragging me down for sev weeks.

Now I have an aunt (by marriage) who died yesterday and must deal with that - one of my Youngest aunts.  Sad cuz most aunts & uncles in 80's and 90's.  This is just the beginning of losing another string of people I love.  The loves of my childhood.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Your neighbors are behaving badly.

Was the fence in his way? If not, why even bother unless they are planning on selling their house. Maybe you will get somebody nice next door.

I am sorry about the loss of your aunt. I will be praying for you.

I wish i had more wisdom on this. Just be careful. I follow cases on Investigation Discovery channel. It is horribly common for a neighbor down the line to have moved the boundaries of ur property.

Please, be so careful. Keep as far away from neighbor as u can now. Many neighbors now put up cameras to catch activities of their neighbors cuz LE takes that more seriously.

Insane neighbors are more common than one would know. Don't watch Fear Your Neighbors.

But, it is possible to get an order of protection I do believe now. Get the surveyor. Do it all according to law.

But, I would prefer to have non family members fix the posts according to the rules and regs. And, keeping u safely away from the lunatics.

I am so sorry about your beloved aunt. No one needs this now. Or ever.

But, incomprehensible wars erupt b/w neighbors. Security cameras are inexpensive so u can capture them if they attempt to undo work u have done.

Take your police reports and go in for an Order of Protection to protect you and ur relatives and any hired workers.

God be with you. I have read and followed some very horrific cases b/w neighbors. Take this seriously.

Order of Protection. Cameras. I hope you are a member of NRA and have protection in your house.

Be careful letting animals out near neighbors now as they have gone or been nutz for awhile.

Please, be careful. This can escalate quickly if you don't have evidence of them trespassing on your property on cam. I had a great outdoor security cam by Wise and it was 25$ for audio and video.

Make sure your permits are in order. Do everything your research is suggesting. But, reasons unknown, i have seen way too many occasions where neighbors have underlying PTSD or are simply greedy, bullies and insane, and I sincerely hope that you and your family members do your best to avoid these neighbors.

Hmmmm the concrete is still stuck on the 4X4 posts

Yes in theory thry can just be re planted ....but as you say it is hard to get post hold to fit with concrete.

Maybe digging it bigger and putting small pea gravel or maybe sand in the bottoms...

We need to get one of those call in home improvement shows people to help answer this.

It is simply hard for me to believe that there are people this hateful to a single mature woman.

It,actually went to, 31 last night and tonight going down into the mid 20's
