and I do like that tag feature "@" that PR uses...I was very impressed how that helps people stay in touch with each other.....maybe that could be implemented here

Good Morning Everyone…….here reading so if you havent posted before please do.

Hey Ice I saw that Kittycat had posted at some strange time to me. It seems like maybe in Okinawa Island in the south pacific that would be 10 hours behind Eastern time zone, hmmmm this is getting to be a real good mystery story, hmmm

Anyway friends my good news is that my preowned ( used ) car shopping was completed yesterday. And it did take all day because just after my last post on here around 9:30 AM I left and did not get it all done until 10:45 PM

But I am happy and more importantly the person I was doing it for is happier.

Oh FirePlaces it ended up being a Honda Accord…..I know you knew that I had been looking for an Outback first then a Forester. But all of those fell through or were out of the budget.
And Fire the sales guy I ended up with was good…..there were only  few magpies hanging around the dealership……hah ha

I think this Honda Accord EX is going to be fine though. It has higher mileage but I did contact previous owner and they detailed all the maintenance work completed per schedule, so I felt ok with the higher mileage.


Ok then. After staying up after I got home having a couple beers and some munchies it was way too late for my normal schedule and now I have one of those out of the bodies normal schedule headache……drinking coffee hear at noon,

I hope at Harley will understand me……


So I feel good about getting that car shopping over with as it had superseded everything else I need to be getting done.

IceWizard I completely know what you mean being up when it is quiet and no one else around ….I love it as a kid I always got up first and maybe that is why I still like it but somehow I think now there is more figured into it , now where is that diagnosis thread for state of mind, Linville says laughing….no but all seriousness Ice you are beginning to make me so envious of such a good routine you have .

So I hope some more stop by here even if it is a 10 hour differential like Kittycat did yesterday…..ha

I am really enjoying getting to know all of you good people and I don't mind saying so.

Oh Ice I am not out of my Sumatran Coffee yet so that is my brew this AM….I have a few bag of Hawaiian eft so I will break those out soon…..

Looks like it's raining a bit here... Ahhh I hear the old coffeepot making it's last push ... Hang on a minute ...

Ok got my coffee in the cup and some down my neck.... Let me take care of this ...just a sec... **cough** ... Ok where was I ... Oh yeah it's raining today (for a bit) should be quiting here shortly ... My girls needed a little fresh rain water, it never hurt 'em ....

Well for me this is gonna be a quiet type of day, that or somebody's gonna hear 'bout it!

Hey you'll never believe,.. I have Jerry Springer's show "Baggage" on the tube right now(recorded last night sometime) and they have one of the dudes named ... Ready for this ... Zander!! And he's a black guy!! Well you never know ...

Fire ... I hate to get "strep" or just a sore throat for that matter ... I'll tell you what my G-Grandmother used to do to stop mine ... Believe it or not ... I used to get them all the time so to save going to the Dr. all the time. She would take what we called "monkey blood" now my spelling sux ,but it's mecuricome ... Not methialate ... Anyway it does not have any burn to it ... Using a long swap (the single ended kind) and "paint" the part of my throat that she could see the red or whiteish part ...
I would of coarse gag , the next morning ... Gone .... Didn't hurt no more ..

Now G-Grandmother was a RN waaaay back in the midevil medicine days ... But it worked everytime ...

Whew! Some hits seem harder than others! And that my friends was a good one...

Got my "honey do" list already made out (of coarse) so I won't get side tracked, at least that's the plan, but believe me, I could screw up a steel ball in a dessert full of sand! It just seems to happen that way for me ... lol

i see that Linville must be sleepin in this morning, I'll have to re-pour his coffe here in a bit so it won't get cold on him.

Fire ... Hope that sore throat is better today. Those suck out loud and hurt like the dickens, I know I've had my share of those nasty bothers! ...

Kitty ... You have that Christy guy for your Gov? Bles your little pea pickin heart! He's so hardlined about things it's crazy!! ... And I still think he had a hand in that "bridge gate" stoppage that time ... Just seemed real fishy ..

Ok I've rambled on enough.... Man Linville I really like this idea you came up with for a thread ... It's where everybody we have on this forum should go each day they show up and just chat about what's effecting/affecting them each day ... I like this ... We may even get to know people a little better over coffee in the am ... It's worked for generations face to face, why couldn't it work morw or less the same way digitaly...

As I hoist my cup to the ceiling , I say to all may you have a pain and worry free day today and please come back real soon ...

Today I have a job first thing so I hope to be ready to leave a little early, Oh it is 5:30 as I read your post and begin mine, One day though I will beat you , now who am I kidding, ha ha.

Ok, I usually drink 2 cups before I leave the house and take one to go and then that's it for the day.
I drive about 20 minutes on an interstate to work.

Let me share some coffee too, here you go guys, grab one, especiallyHarley…..there is more though so everybody get one.

Pardon my late post the other day. I was at breakfast in the middle of writing it, and saved it as a draft because I got distracted with something. When i saw it later, I just hit send. Hee.

Today is a little overcast, but it is sunny in my heart, because today I am getting a MASSAGE!  @Fireplaces, hope you continue to feel better, @Linville, man that coffee looks good. I shall take a cup!

Today should be a wonderful day! ... My coffe is in the cup and I'm slowly but surely making it dissapper ... Got my lighter in my hand(for a change) so hang on just a bit ....

Wow! This stuff is da bomb! ... Can't wait till my "girls" are ready to come inside ...lol they absolutely "stink" ... I actually called them "Lucy and Ethyl" ...

I have to go and print out a shipping label to send a phone back today, they said it had "scratchs" on it and it turned out to be "cracked" on the screen ... We'll see how this turns out.

I'm putting another pot of coffee on for all the folks that's gonna show up here later and you're all welcome indeed! I just love this thread! I just wish all our regulars would stop by, drink a cup or two and join in the convo. It's such a warm and friendly little "coffee shop" for us to chat about our plans for the day( well at least we try to get our "lists" done ..lol)
Anywho ... I hoist my cup to the ceiling in hope that all have one heck of a remarkable day!

Harley I need to clean out me garage too. I remember you mentioning moving back home a while back, so it is still on track to happen. Good.

Just saw on the news, that a person needs 7-9 hours of sleep a night ….I do not get it…ugh

I have another busier than usual one looking at me with extra contractors in from out of town to keep busy. The boss is wanting me  to keep them busy because they cost us a lot, which always makes my day crazy. But I will survive.

Sounds like they put you through the paces Linville! ... Well good hands are hard to find so when they do find one, they tend to load them up so stuff will actually get done ... And they won't let up on you cause they know it will get done right....

Now I "rated" this thread a 5 star and it shows up like that on my end, but I don't know it affects the whole board's view of it.... Maybe just on my crappy system(phone) ...

Anywho... Don't let 'em work you to death Linville.... You're a real value here and it's our job to do that...lol
