Welcome Blockhead59 - glad you're here.  You've joined the very best forum on the web or anywhere.  I hope you'll be very happy in this community.   

I was advised to read when i joined here and reading helped greatly - with inspiration for posting etcetera.  The other one to read and read again is the Rules as it is very easy to post and break one of the rules if not refreshing oneself by re-reading.  I look forward to reading your posts.

I love that song, too! One of his best. Also, appreciate your disclaimer. I know there's a debate on whether people should should let the author speak for him/herself, or whether we should substitute offensive words with less offensive ones. Topic for another day and time.

Love it, Charon. I was born in Brooklyn, but lived for 15 years in the heart of the Village. Practically lived at CBGB throughout the 70's. Saw Lou there as a performer many times, and also saw him as a patron! An incredibly talented man, critical thinker and social critic. Thanks for bringing those memories to mind.
