Look out for one another
#1
Hey guys,

I know many of us already have this in mind but I think it's worth mentioning.

With many deaths worldwide in the last few years from bad presses circulating in far too many peoples hands, I really think it's important that if anyone who posts here receives a bad batch of any magazine from a vendor, it should be brought to attention immediately. I've had an experience before about 2 years ago when I made a purchase from a vendor who had unanimously positive reviews online, and ended up waking up in hospital the day after I'd read a magazine I'd purchased. I was in complete shock and contacted them to ask what on earth had happened (I was tested in hospital and some tests came back as positive which never should have happened if it had been the right mag I ordered). They straight up denied any wrongdoing and continued vendoring for months after, although thankfully they did eventually close. I reported the incident on their thread but no action was taken against them. I don't know if anyone else ended up needing medical care (or worse) because they didn't know the risks involved or because they thought, hey its just one bad review, it's not going to change my mind.

There are so many tragedies that have already happened to so many good people because of bad presses. I know some people send off their magazines to be tested before reading them and I think we have a responsibility to speak up if something is wrong.

Xx

I really appreciate this post. Is it possible to send off magazines to be tested? i recently switched vendors and I'm very anxious about the new magazines I received.

If I become concerned I will go to a drug testing service and pay. Don't care if it 'raises concerns'. No one is going to try and prosecute you for trying to determine what is contained in a medicine "you found in your child's drawer", etc.

Easier and cheaper is if you have a scientist friend that does routine analytical testing with HPLC, LCMS, or mass spectrometry. Even though these very quick and cheap tests can tell you if your medicine contains whatever ingredient it claims to have in it, it doesn't tell you if it has been contaminated with something toxic, UNLESS the individual running the test is SPECIFICALLY looking for other adulterants.

It's a tough call but I'd say if you are concerned enough to pay $100 or more to find out not only if a medicine has the active ingredient but is also 'clean' of other substances, then just stay away from that vendor or country. It won't be worth it in the end regardless of the outcome.

I don't understand why do you take a med that you is counterfeit. I know real bars are very hard to come by but why not take 2 x 1mg for which you can get pharma grade easily enough. I just dont understand why people take the risk.

Years back, I woke up on my daughter's birthday and could not move or get out of bed. I had driven my kids to school, etc. with flus and stomach viruses, but could not move. I know it was from a magazine I read. At the time I wasn't sure, so I stupidly didn't say anything to newsstand owner. That had never happened to me, and I was shocked!! I wasn't on a forum, so I didn't tell anyone. But, Glousck, I agree with you that these torn or busted up magazines should be brought to all's attention.

I'm sure thepianist is right about testing - especially new sources/suppliers etc.

I bought some cheap tests for fent from eBay to ensure nothing I take has been contaminated. I don't use the thing that fent is most often adulterated with, but there are reports on it winding up in all kinds of things now. Can't be too careful with that. In case anyone is interested the test kits from ebay were proper medical ones, but very cheap (5 kits for $3.50 - approximately). This testing is obviously far less comprehensive than what thepianist suggested, but it is near enough instant and v cheap.

I’ve read the rules and I can’t see anything about this. What’s the obsession with the term magazines? I get the idea, but in a thread where you’re talking about being hospitalised and testing ‘magazines’ do you really think this is hiding anything? Just as bad as SWIM. I know we need to be careful on forums, but can we be a bit realistic as well?

thanks for the ebay suggestion.  i looked online for outside labs to send to but could not find anything really.   the fent thing is really scary these days.  i live in the east coast and everyday you hear about contamination in large numbers.  my sleep issues don't need to be exacerbated by being stressed about what im putting into my body.

Good Morning All....

Looking out for one another is what this Forum is all about. Do your research on any vendor before placing your order. We have vetted vendors on here who are tried and tested with plenty of positive reviews and those are the ones to stick with.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!

Every now and then we do get a new vendor recommended by another member on the Forum that looks great. These are the one's that someone eventually has to hang it out there and give em a try and see if they are what they appear to be. We can always use another great source as long as over time they show us consistency of quality, shipping and communication.

In the end this is a great thread because looking out for one another iz all we got..

Peace All and have a blessed day

I would also suggest that you can pm someone who has used that i0p before to get private reviews.
