Zechariah 9:9

9 Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout, Daughter Jerusalem!
See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious,
lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt,
the foal of a donkey.



Today's Prayer...


Lord God, our Father,
we thank you that we have you and the light of your Spirit,
which always gives us new determination for the tasks you
ask of us. We thank you that we may live not just in the
passing moment but also in eternity, looking with joyful
hope to the future meant for us and for all humankind.
Keep us in your Spirit, and open to us truth after truth.
May we be part of that people who carry a light within
them, a light which will show them the way through all
the struggles and temptations of life; then each one of
us will know day by day that you can help us and everyone
on earth to a better life through your Holy Spirit.

In the Name of the Most Holy we

Matthew 21:9

9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that
followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”


Today's Prayer...


Our Father in heaven,
as your children may we truly receive something from you
to bring our lives into a living bond with you. Grant that
we may overcome everything harmful and evil. May it be
given to us to help that your kingdom may come closer
and closer, that your will may be done, and Jesus Christ,
your Son, may be recognized as the light of the world for
the salvation of all people and their deliverance from all evil.
Protect us and grant that your Spirit may remain with us.

John 1:29

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!




Today's Prayer...


Our Father in heaven,
we thank you for this day and for all the loving kindness
you pour out on us. May we continue to receive your
help and your protection. Bless us in whatever we are
allowed to do in your service, that it may always be done
in love to all people. Watch over us this night and be
with us. May your will be done throughout the world,
so that at last all confusion may come to an end,
Satan’s work may be destroyed, and your children may
shout for joy that your will is being done on
earth as in heaven.

Hebrews 9:27-28

27 Just as people are destined to die once,
and after that to face judgment,
28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away
the sins of many; and he will appear a second time,
not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those
who are waiting for him.




Today's Prayer...


Lord our God,
Father of us all, bless our community in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
May your Spirit carry out what we are powerless to do, so that we
experience strength and joy, something from eternity, and can face life
with all its evil, pain, and suffering. For you have drawn us to yourself,
and in spirit, soul, and body we belong to another world, higher than this
earthly and passing one. We want to remain true to this higher world,
that your praise may come from one heart and from one voice, that the
name of Jesus Christ may shine in us and show us the way to all that is
true and eternal.

“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased
for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.



Today's Prayer...


Lord our God and our Father,
we thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit, who binds us to you.
Give us continually afresh something of this Spirit so that we
can go forward with light shining on the paths we must follow
on earth. Grant us your Spirit, grant that light may break into
our whole life and we can rejoice because we experience so
much of what you are doing. For through the power of your
Spirit you can help us toward your future and all that is to
come, that we may live not only in time but in eternity.

28 This is my blood of the covenant,
which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins


Today's Prayer...


Lord our God and our Father,
we thank you for revealing your rulership, which is for the good
of each of us. Each one of us will become what we ought to be
when our faith is united with your divine power. Protect this faith
in us through every temptation and through all we have yet to
endure in this earthly life. Free us again and again for one thing
alone, that your kingdom may come into being within us and
around us, to the praise and glory of the everlasting truth you
have given us in Jesus Christ.
