I took a recent deep dive on the benefits of melatonin. It has so many crazy health benefits, especially paired with ascorbic acid. If you look up Doris Loh's research on it, it's phenomenol. Do you find midazolam to be habit forming? Wake up groggy? I tend to avoid benzos and their cousins so I may not be the most objective here.
