Hey Bug,

Just a mundane idea on packing.  I've packed many times--before my RV days.  Pick a box, put in it toothbrushes, soap, main skillet, spatula, cooking oil, meds; all those things you go crazy looking for in various boxes when you unpack.  It's your "first to unpack that will allow you to survive the first few days" box.  A towel, some toilet paper, a box of mac and cheese, can of ravioli.  Anything you will need to survive without going nuts looking through "categorized" boxes.  Took me a while to learn this lesson, dish soap, sponge for dishes.  It will save you a load of frustration.  Mark it so you will know which one it is. Hope I'm not to late on this.  Always good to know.

Hi Spank
That's a very good idea and I will have to do just that. I'm not starting to pack too many boxes yet. Still busy going thru things and deciding to keep or pitch. Been putting the keeps back in the drawers so that when it's time to pack, all will be gone thru and will just have to put it in boxes. Still sooooo much to go thru. But that's a really good idea you came up with. I thank you for that time and sanity tip.

Take care my friend

Sounds like encouraging news! Good luck! Smile

Well Willie, at least it's a step forward. I'm tired of getting knocked back and being put thru all of the hassle and getting nowhere.

Since I lowered the price a bit, been getting a little more action. HOPEFULLY I will find "the one".

Take care my family. I luv you all and you're the only family I have left. Couldn't ask for better and more supportive friends.

Thank you guys.

Cricket I cant believe that you cant get one bite, looks very comfortable and lots of appeals.

Anyway continued thought and good vibes going your way...Cricket
Hi Cricket. Your house is so nice & the description sounds wonderful. You are bound to get some takers. Hang in there!
Cricket,
Your home is wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I totally understand why you want to stay there. It looks a thousand times better than mine and mine is not on the water. I hope the lawyers and bankers can work something out for you and the pups. In my area, that house would sell for close to $300k. It is really a steal!!!
Still sending good wishes your way. Now I really, really understand how conflicted you are. Good luck, R.

Well, got some encouraging news today. I FINALLY got an offer. They offered $5000 less than I'm asking, which doesn't sound like that much, but I'm at my rock bottom on the price. Just lowered it a good bit but can't go any lower. I'm countering back with the price I'm asking. Hell, after the 2 mortgages are paid off and relator fees, I'm not gonna be left with much to find a new home. I'm sure no one will let me make a loan with my only income being my disability check. I may have to look into HUD homes, but I hear there's a waiting list. I just might have to live in my car until something opens up. Praying it doesn't come to that tho.

Had another young couple come back this morning and they sound very interested. Haven't heard anything back from them yet, but hopefully they can do better on the price. Funny thing about it is, these 2 interested parties live right here on the marina not far from me.

So, tomorrow I guess I will see what they think of my counter offer. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Cross your fingers for me.

Goodnight family

Cricket
Good luck, Cricket! Smile
