Well guys, it's looking like a done deal. I have a buyer and the inspection will be next Thurs. and I'm sure it will pass. The buyer wants to do the closing on July 28th which should give me enough time to find a new home and clear out.
I know I should be happy, but I'm really feeling sad. I know I have no other choice, but I don't want to leave. I'll keep praying for that miracle for some HUGE stroke of luck to come along and I won't have to sell. Praying for a lotto win.
Now I have to get really serious about packing UGH. I HATE this.

Hey Cricket,
How about some platitudes: "Change can be good" "Change offers a new beginning", etc. Yeah, moving is a pain, especially moving from a place that's been "home". Get your moving box ready. Put a few of those Armour meals you can just throw in the micro, sure you include some forks. Tape a few tran*s to the inside of that box. If the TV isn't ready, get a few of those "Bronson and Chuck Norris Kill 500 In An Hour" movies from Walmart for three bucks. Sit back, the physically hard stuff is done. Life's not over, and it is always change. That's a fact. Could in fact, be good. Please go easy on yourself and your good heart. The process is the tough part, and I'm glad you're getting through it. Just glad you found a buyer in this crumbling economy. Thinking of you.

Good news Cricket
I am happy for but also sad because I do understand this,,,
Cricket I know what you mean not wanting to leave.
I hate that you do but it is what it is.
Unless the big loto win comes for you like you mentioned.
Well keep all of us interested ones updated on the latest...
Writing this in middle of the night because I couldn't sleep so I hope it makes sense to you.
Good luck, you little piece of bait.....any cricket that's made it this long without being devoured by some Bass or Trout....is going make it through this

Hi Cricket.
How is it going? Okay I hope.
Well July 28 does give you a little time to pack.
Part of the plan has happened now the other part. I am sure hoping you find something that works for you, Cricket.
Thanks for the update Cricket.
So the deal is Done......I hope you can find something acceptable too. One time I sold and then rented until I could find something because I couldn't swing selling and buying close enough, boy was that stressful.....but it worked out in the end fine.
Best to ya Cricket.

Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't been posting much but been very busy. Today I visited a mobile home park I'm interested in and went to Miss. to look at some trailers. Saw some really nice ones I wouldn't mind living in. Just have to wait and see how much $ is left after the sale of my townhouse and mortgage and any other expenses are paid off. I hope and pray I'll be able to swing this. I know it's gonna be very tight and don't know how I will be able to afford getting my meds anymore. My stash is getting low and it has me worried. DAMMIT! Life can really suck sometimes.
I hope you all are doing well and staying out of trouble.

Glad you posted. I have been thinking about you and hoping your search for a new home was going ok.
Have you considered a 2nd hand trailer? I would think they are like cars, in that their value drops 25% (guessing on %) once they are driven off the lot.
Also, does it make any sense to try to buy a 1/4 acre of land for the trailer, instead of monthly trailer park rent?
Water catchment systems and solar power are also ways to avoid monthly utility bills. Could save you $ in the long run. Not as expensive to set up as it used to be. Just an idea. Not sure how feasible.
Your friend,
Fire
Hi Fire,
Buying a piece of land for my trailer would be more than I could afford up front. It's gonna be a struggle to buy the trailer alone and can't afford to buy land too.
Good idea and I have thought about doing that, but I just won't have enough money for both.
Thanks and I hope all is well with you.
