Good afternoon everyone!
Monday is done and dusted!
We have had sun, rain, snow, hail, strong winds, everything today...Supposed to get the same tomorrow with some thunder & lightening thrown in the mix. It was 1oC (34oF) at lunch time today...we're just over 5 days away from the middle of Spring

I'm beginning to think summer will just not bother turning up this year. We've had 1 mild day in 2016.

Never mind, I can't complain as I slept like a log last night so feel well rested today possibly the best sleep of 2016.

When little, I used t say to my mom that I wanted frosted flakes for breakfast.
She thought I was saying chocolate cake ...LOL and she would kid me saying that after the first time

Of course she said I could not have chocolate cake for breakfast, as she should have, it was our morning fun when I asked for frosted flakes for breakfast she would respond with the usual, and we would laugh. Don't have my mom to laugh with anymore but I have some memories..... ....just a little wake up story.....that I remembered seeing this chocolate cake.

Coffee's hot and everything's startin round here... My SO goes for her EKG this AM... Can't wait to see how that turns out... I maen the Drs here remind me of "Doc" outta Dodge City for peete's sake.... Horse doctors at best! So I may be a little more "antsy" than usual...

Excuse me while I have a word with "Wesley"...

Whew! That ole boy knows how to "talk"...

Anywhoo.... I still ain't have any of those nasty cigs and was takin 2 Chantix everyday... Now, since my SO couldn't take Zyban and her ins co won't let her get Chantix, we decided to see if maybe one a day for her does any good... She was taking 1/2 in the AM for appox 4 days and now we have her taking 1/2 in the AM and the other half at night... Going on 10 days now... Now I didn't see any progress with my habit for 6-7 weeks and then it was just no craving for them and I'd forget that I hadn't smoked for hours! So the jury is still out on her quittin... But I feel like she can do it with this stuff... The patches and gum, always was too much for her system... She's so tiny and all, it really has her jumpin stumps....

Ok... Enough already....

Remember to love one another today and smile... It's gonna be a real good day for it!

We have finally broke the dry spell. The rains are good to get.

Grins, I think I want Chocolate Cake for breakfast, for those that read yesterday you will understand the grins involved saying that.

Actually a pastry sounds good.....but I have been trained so breakfast comes first, habits.....LOL

Anyway I hope everyone has a pain and stress free day....I am going to try to but things make it very hard for me lately but I keep on...

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a decent nights sleep. I have been up since 5am so it's going to be a long morning for me. We finally got a lot of rain yesterday. Today it will be sunny & in the 50s. Today, I have to use the rototiller in the garden so it will be a tough day for me. Then plant the seed potatoes. My dad bought reds, russets, & Yukon Gold seed potatoes. My dad is 85 so he is unsteady on his feet lately so he has a chair that he can sit in while I work. Hopefully the black flies won't be so bad.

Morning Harley. Thanks for asking about my gardening. I am frustrated because I am moving so slow this year. But I love it.

My boss is always on my case and now I apparently use my phone too much (I don't but she thrives on putting people down)

Insomnia-I'm so sorry you have a boss like that. I hope you can find another job soon.

I'm finally feeling better and back to work after my surgery! It's funny how much you take feeling well for granted. very grateful to be mostly back to normal.
