Good morning folks. I've had a streaming cold, so been a bit slow this week in getting to the site....
Linville, yes, rain is absolutely typical UK winter weather, we get a huge amount more of it than we ever do snow.  Many years, we get no snow at all. That means that when we do get snow, everything just stops!  The kids get a "snow day" and don't have to go to school and everyone is totally thrilled - but we can't handle it at all. Our cars get stuck all over the place and things grind to a halt. It would look so comical to anyone who lives in a country where it snows regularly. We are also getting a lot of high winds/storms which leads to flooding in the lowland places, which has been a huge story in recent years.  Bear in mind, I live in the southern UK and it does tend to be a bit colder up in Scotland, they get a bit more snow than we do down here.

Somehow I missed Wednesday altogether!! ... Maybe my girls ruffed me up a little toooo much!! ... Oh well ... I've done been to the theater today... Just waitin on the center to open... Another auction to set up... Let me get another cup of that coffee... And another bowl... Brb...

Ahhh ... What a great taste anytime of the day! And the coffee ain't bad either.. ..

Seein's how I'm a little strapped for time... I'll just wind this up fairly quick...

Hi Harley.  Are you still getting settled in? Sounds like a dramatic difference than what you are used to in how close walking stores are.

Roses I hope you have a good day.  Ice if you figure out how to do 5 hours work in 3, patent it and sell it to various companies.

A little warm up for your upcoming trip

Good morning, everyone. I'm still sick, but today I feel a little bit better! My husband is taking me out with him on errands, so I get to go out of the house for the first time in over a week (not counting Dr or hospital). I have my nebulizer in the car in case I need a breathing treatment away from home. Thanks everyone for your well wishes, seems to be starting to work!!
